Unless you have a device with high RAM capacity, a processor accordingly and a dedicated graphics, lags and low fps are the stuffs you meet frequently. Gaming always has been a hot-cake in the technical industry and with the increasing Steam Community and development of high-end games, everyone out there wants to check out what’s new in the field.
Low end pcs are always a problem, but maybe Google has a solution for us. Yeah you heard me right! Recently, Google has announced a new technology that can change future of gaming and is also being termed as the ‘Netflix of gaming’. It’s a cloud gaming platform called Stadia and we’ll be talking about the same in this article.
With Stadia, now you don’t need to have a pc or console or any other form of hardware to play games. With nothing more than a screen, an internet connection and a controller, you can play your favorite game supporting 4k up to 60fps. Sounds cool, right? But how is this possible without PlayStation, Xbox or any expensive hardware?
Google Stadia is a cloud gaming platform that lets you play game anywhere, anytime with a screen and a chrome browser. You’ll be saved from the hurdle of downloading the big setup files and in addition to the excitement, Google is pushing this whole thing via YouTube. That means you play a video about a particular game, and if you like it, you push the ‘Play Now’ (just a reference name I’m giving) at the end and boom! you’ve now entered the arena of that game.
As interesting as this sounds, Google Stadia is certainly a revolutionary move in gaming and can change the whole picture of gaming in future, but there are a lot of questions remained unanswered right from the games available on it, the strength of cloud infrastructure and if the promised 4K quality and 60 fps meets or not.
Nevertheless, let’s focus on pros now and embrace this step Google is taking just like the quote from the Google itself, ‘With Stadia, we will all dream bigger and together, build a playground for every imagination.’
